A Challenging Month, but 48 Cats Helped

We’re relieved to see August come to an end – a month that brought more than its share of challenges. While it tested us in many ways, we’re proud to share that we were still able to help 48 cats receive their spays and neuters with several kitties needing some extra TLC and vet care.

Please consider donating to support our mission.
Low-cost spay/neuter is not “no-cost” -and the care doesn’t stop there. Many of the cats we help require crate rest to recover from injuries or wounds, which means added expenses for food, litter, and vet care.

The cats we help come from Rochester’s poorest neighborhoods. These are street cats — rarely true ferals— cats who live outdoors in close proximity to their human caretakers or cats who are the forgotten feline victims of abandonment and eviction. 😿
