Thank you to everyone who made winter shelters this weekend ♥️ We met so many lovely people who love the cats and want to help them weather the winter.

Not all cats will use shelters but most will. Place them in areas out of public view where the cats usually sleep, face them against a wall or each other to block the wind, elevate off the ground, place straw underneath, weight them down so they are stable, use plenty of straw inside, sprinkle with catnip. Remember to keep at a reasonable distance from feeding area (not too close and not too far) and never put food, water, or fabrics in the shelter. If not being used, try a different location and a little more catnip 🐱

Thank you for making winter a little better for our feline friends 🐱 We are always in need of thick-walled coolers. Contact us if you have some that could fit one or two cats.
