Thank you to everyone who came to our winter shelter-building event, donated cat food, and showed us once again that there are so many people who care about the cats! We go through an incredible amount of food, litter, and supplies each month to care for cats in TNR, adoption, foster, and colony programsâover $900 in supplies for our holding space alone, plus rent and adoption center costs. None of this would be possible without the generosity of our community, from donors who âround upâ at checkout to the amazing support of Pet Supplies Plus in Fairport and Monroe/Goodman. Winter, we need to talk. These community kitties are ready for some sunshine!
Itâs too cold for TNR but we are still as busy as ever. Weâve brought in cats patiently waiting outdoors who seem well-suited to indoor-living and others clearly in need of medical attention. Earmites, wounds, flea allergy dermatitis, entropion, dental problems are all being addressed and these kitties are in various stages of treatment or healing.
