October was as busy as ever for us and that’s ok because fall is the best time for TNR. Fewer kittens and nursing moms to complicate things, nice weather for cats and trappers. We appreciate every spay neuter appointment we can get right now because we know what’s next-cold, snow and greatly curtailed TNR in our neck ‘o the woods. Fifty-seven (57!) cats and kittens were trapped in October and 48 of these were spayed or neutered. Kittens and friendly cats were taken in by Flower City Critters, Rochester Animal Services, Lollypop Farm, and Pet Adoption Network!
Several friendly cats requiring extra medical care are still with us awaiting placement. Fosters are desperately needed for these adorable, adoptable kitties who will not go back outside.
Contact us ([email protected]) if you can spare a room and some tender loving care for a month. Litter and food provided.
