Elusive Bixby was trapped last month when his feeder noted he wasn’t putting weight on his back leg. At his neuter appointment it was found to be badly fractured 😿Initially very shy, Bixby warmed up to us during his crate rest and we found out he was amazingly sweet and charming 💕 Unfortunately due to the severity of his fracture, the only option was amputation. Thanks to the amazing team at Stoney Pointe Pet Hospital (@stoneypointeanimalhealthcentre ), Bixby received the care he needed. Once he’s fully healed, he’ll be ready to find his forever “indoor” home! 🏡
