An ounce of prevention… ✨
With limited spay/neuter appointments, we focus on trapping female cats. In July, we spayed 23 females! This effort:
🔹 Prevented kittens from having kittens
🔹 Spared stressed mama cats from another litter
🔹 Saved countless kittens from suffering and dying outdoors
🔹 Stopped hundreds of kittens from being born into a tough street life over the next year
We can’t adopt our way out of cat overpopulation. We need to “fix” the source of the problem—too many unfixed cats!🐈⬛
(Fifteen males were also snipped and tipped in July, heading towards a calmer, healthier, and more neighborly life!)
